I have written a save-editing utility for FFX. To use, copy one of your saves to a flash drive with uLaunchElf. Since FFXED edits both raw and PSU saves, you can copy just the raw save, or the entire folder (paste that with psuPaste).

Edit the save in FFXED, and paste it back into your memory card. When you say 'INT', does that include all the european versions (several different ones) as well as the japanese re-release (the only one really named 'FFX International' on the cover) with product code SLPS-25088? The latter is the only version I bother with nowdays, since it is the only one having the Bikanel time-warp, and it does have all features of all the other versions. One point I think needs clarification is the set of commands to 'delete' grid nodes. This could mean two different things, but I want it confirmed that it only means deleting the content of each node, and not deletion of the node as such. So the result will just be an empty node, and not a removed node. Another point here is that the command to delete all nodes then needs some complementary commands to add back the normal ability nodes, as the game otherwise becomes pointless, meaning that it's really the 'delete all' command that is then pointless.

But I realize that a command to reinsert all possible ability nodes would add needless complexity to the program. A more useful 'delete all' variant would be a command to delete all nodes except ability nodes, which should be much easier to accomplish, than reinsertion of ability nodes, and yet allow almost as much user freedom in redefining the grid.

But as yet I'm afraid that even the present features do not work at all for me. Seeing all the FFXED features described on your linked pages my first thought was that this must be hard to achieve in just 73KB. And unfortunately my attempts to run that jar file simply lead to an error message from the 'Java Virtual Machine Launcher' stating the following: 'Could not find the main class.

By INT, I mean all of the versions that go by the name 'Final Fantasy X International' (SLPS-25088, SLPM-65115, etc). The point of 'Delete All Nodes' is to clear away the ability nodes in order to make room for more stat nodes. As you may know, there is not enough room on the grid to completely max all your stats. Deleting the ability nodes may free up that extra space you wish you had. If you do delete the ability nodes, you can still get any ability from the ability list in the 'Character' menu. You just won't be able to learn them from the grid, that's all. As you said, a button to put the ability nodes back on the grid is not going to happen.
